New construction contract law since 01.01.2018
On 09.03.2017, the Bundestag passed the law on the reform of construction contract law and the amendment of liability for defects under sales law, which was approved by the Bundesrat. The reform comes into force on 01.01.2018 and applies to all contracts concluded from this date. We offer individual workshops on the changes and open seminars in the fall:
- What is the new structure of the law and what will change for everyone involved in construction?
- Where do contracts, negotiation protocols and general terms and conditions need to be amended?
- New BGB or VOB/B - the advantages and disadvantages of contract design.
Legal coaching for managers in the construction industry
The aim of the coaching is to further sharpen the existing legal knowledge of private construction law, architects' law and public procurement law among executives in the construction industry and to convey an in-depth awareness of legal problems in important areas such as construction contract law. In addition, managers in the construction industry generally also come into contact with other areas of law. It is not uncommon for aspects of sales and work supply contract law, company law, insolvency law or employment law to be of importance. We offer personalized solutions tailored to you and your company, either at your premises or in our offices, e.g. every two weeks from 5 pm to 7 pm. In a preliminary meeting, we would discuss the topics to be covered with you and set individual priorities.
