Review of the 6th annual ICLA conference in Tokyo, Japan

On 28 and 29 May 2019, the 6th annual ICLA conference took place at Keio University in Tokyo under the direction of Dr Wolfgang Breyer as ICLA Chairman. The theme of this year's conference was "An Encouragement of Learning (学問のすすめ Gakumon no Susume): The Frontier of International Construction Law".

The thematic highlights included presentations on legal remedies after acceptance, analysing delays from three perspectives (project consultant, contractor and lawyer), the role of the expert, and an overview of international construction projects in Asia.
