The architect's remuneration after the ECJ's minimum rate decision. In-house seminar on 18 June 2020 - 14:00 - 18:00. Further information can be found here.

Contents:

In its judgement of 4 July 2019 (Case C-377/17 = NZBau 2019, 511), the ECJ declared mandatory remuneration in accordance with the minimum rates of Section 7 HOAI to be contrary to EU law.

Since then, fee agreements with architects below these minimum rates can be effectively agreed and enforced in court.

On 14 May 2020, the Federal Court of Justice will hear the consequences of the ECJ ruling and thus establish further legally binding guidelines on the future remuneration of architects under German law.

At our in-house training course on 18 June 2020, we will not only explain the exciting question of how architects will be remunerated in the future. Rather, we will explain very fundamental questions about architects' remuneration. For example, on chargeable construction costs in detail, service profiles, drafting an architect's contract and a fee agreement with contract samples, or on basic services and special services according to HOAI. This is also based on case studies from construction practice and current court decisions.

The seminar is aimed at managers in the construction and property sector as well as planners, site managers and architects who wish to obtain an up-to-date overview of the current status of contract design and remuneration for architects. Our lecturers are recognised experts in this area of law with many years of professional experience.
