During the three days together in Paris in addition to client meetings, Dr. Breyer together with Steve Charney (Peckar & Abramson), Christophe Lapp and Francois Muller (Advant Altanta) and Jim Perry (PS Consulting) presented the seminar “An International View of Design Build: LCL’s Ongoing Analysis,” to construction professionals. Prior to their departure, the group was invited to visit the Sorbonne University, welcomed by Prof. Charles Gijsbers.

Prof. Dr. Mark von Wietersheim has been Managing Director of the non-profit forum vergabe e.V. since 2009. In his activities as a lawyer and as a long-standing in-house lawyer in the DB Group, he has supervised a large number of construction and infrastructure projects and the related awarding of contracts. For several years, he was involved in the updating of the VOB/A and the VOB/B in the main committee of the DVA. Prof. Dr. von Wietersheim is an honorary professor at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. He has contributed to numerous events and publications on the topics of private construction law and public procurement law. From now on, Prof. Dr. Mark von Wietersheim will develop the new national office in Berlin and enrich the team of Breyer Rechtsanwälte with his experience and excellent skills.
Dr. Wolfgang Breyer, name partner of the law firm Breyer Rechtsanwälte, was a speaker at the event of the Instituto Brasileiro de Direito da Construção in São Paulo. There he spoke, among other things, about solutions to the problem of delay-related additional costs in a construction project.

Dr. Breyer presented and discussed at the IPA Conference 2022, which took place on July 05, 2022 in Berlin, together with Prof. Dr. Patrick Schwerdtner, Prof. Dr. Peter Racky, Andrew Jones, Robert Karnes and Dr. Wolfgang Wiesner, on the topic “Expert session “Remuneration – The way to jointly confirmed target costs”.
